Oh yes, and the small matter of hearing the world's most perfect album. Paul Simon singing Graceland with Ladysmith Black Mambazo. I cried. Buckets.

Dublin: through streets broad and narrow...
It's amazing how much you can do in two days if you actually get up in the morning! On a whirlwind tour of Dublin, we took in breakfast at the Cake Cafe; sat at the back of Catholic mass at Whitefriar Street Church; goggled at the Natural History Museum (known as the Dead Zoo and you can probably see why!); dodged umbrellas at Trinity College; sat in pubs; hoicked oysters; inhaled incredible mussels and prawns on toast at the Winding Stair; rambled by the Liffey; and gawped at Francis Bacon's relocated studio at the wonderful Hugh Lane Gallery.
Oh yes, and the small matter of hearing the world's most perfect album. Paul Simon singing Graceland with Ladysmith Black Mambazo. I cried. Buckets.
